Since the Village of Loch Lloyd was formed in 2003, the governing body, a five member Board of Trustees, has had as its mission to make the Village a safe and desirable community equal to or exceeding that of any Village of comparable size, to protect our citizens, and to give them access to civic participation.

The creation of this website is the culmination of a many years effort to keep you safe and informed.

Named after its original developer, Harry J. Lloyd (1926-1997), the Village of Loch Lloyd is a semi-gated municipality in northwestern Cass County in the West North Central portion of the State of Missouri. It is located on the south side of the Kansas City metropolitan area, south of the Cass County line and north of Missouri Highway 58 and west of Holmes Road (State Highway D) to the state line on the east. FiveStar Lifestyles, LLC, acquired the Loch Lloyd development, including the Country Club at Loch Lloyd, in 2002. The company offers real estate development services and builds, constructs, and develops resorts, communities, villages, and golf courses.

S & G Capital, LLC acquired the Loch Lloyd development and the club assets in late 2021. Located in the south Kansas City metropolitan area, The Village of Loch Lloyd offers many opportunities for an active, healthy lifestyle, coupled with a premium level of privacy and security, and ready access to the comforts of city life. Nestled along the Blue River, Loch Lloyd is one of the most prestigious addresses in the Kansas City metro with stunning views of the lake and rolling hills accompanying homes of all sizes in the growing 1,200-acre community with approximately 450 residents in 2023. Residents also enjoy Loch Lloyd Country Club and the Tom Watson Signature 18-hole golf course, both of which are premier leisure destinations.

Cass County commissioners issued Order No. 03-66 incorporating the Village as a legal municipality on September 4th, 2003.
